Charing Cross is one of London main Train Terminus. Train leaves Charing Cross for South-East London, Kent, and parts of East Sussex. Charing Cross is also served by the Bakerloo and Northern underground lines. The station opened on 11 January 1864 with its six platforms, which it still only has today. Near major disaster struck Charing Cross on the 5 December 1905, when the roof collapsed but luckily it took some time to collapse so the station was evacuated and an incoming train stopped.
