Waterloo East is one of London major rail stations. Trains operate from Charing Cross and Waterloo East to South-East London, Kent, and parts of East Sussex. Opened on: 1 January 1869. The station was opened as Waterloo Junction and then Renamed Waterloo Eastern on the 7 July 1935. The station was renamed Waterloo East on the 2 May 1977. The station has platforms A, B, C, D, so passengers won’t get confused between Waterloo East and Waterloo main line station.
